What Camouflage Patterns Are Used in the Chilean Military Today?
The Chilean military currently uses digital camouflage patterns similar to U.S. MARPAT, adapted for Chile’s diverse environments. The Army and Marines have phased out older woodland and “rana” (frog) camo in favor of pixelated, multi-terrain designs. Uniforms are made from durable poly-cotton ripstop or lightweight combat blends, suited for hot, arid, and mountainous zones. These patterns are used in both field and deployment kits, replacing the traditional olive and disruptive colors of previous decades.
